LEADERSHIP

The firm was born from the vision of its Founder/CEO, Mark Thompson, who possesses more than two decades of management and training experience in the nonprofit sector. In addition to his experience as a nonprofit leader and operational strategist, he is a certified journeyman electrician.

 

When he is not working with Trident clients or finding innovative ways to serve in his community, Mark serves as an educator, providing mentorship and instruction to trainees in the electrical industry. His innovative instructional approach and training style has directly contributed to the successful development, mentorship and advancement of hundreds in the electrical industry.

 

Prior to his career as a tradesman and educator, Mark worked in state and local politics. Committed to advancing diversity, equity and inclusion in every space, Mark has developed a passion for volunteerism, and is an active volunteer leader, currently serving as chapter president of a national organization focused on representation for workers in underrepresented groups.

 

He is a graduate of Morgan State University, where he studied Political Science.
